I have been working happily as a Freelance Mobile Massage Therapist here in Cornwall for the past ten years. It is a very rewarding career and it takes me all over Cornwall to some of the most beautiful locations. The freedom it gives me allows me to get the best of both worlds, exploring and enjoying the Cornish environment and doing the work I love. It is not easy and it is hard work, and you really have to look after yourself to sustain this work and you have to love it and I do! All my adult life I have mostly lived in the big cities in the corporate world, a bit of a soul destroyer when I look back at my old awful lifestyle, working all hours, not looking after myself and generally burning the candles at both ends, just to get that ad produced on time. Not very fulfilling. When I moved back to Cornwall, I knew I would have to make some sacrifices and I did, but after years of hard work and building my practice I now have the life I want, whizzing around Cornwall with my mobile spa and working out of beautiful treatment rooms literally right on the sea. As long as I am near the sea I am a happy therapist. So I have learnt that the Cornish lifestyle is a beautiful place to be, you have to work hard and love what you do and be passionate about it in order to make this place work for you. I love it here on this Cornish little island and I wouldn't change my life here for the world.
