Yolande Philpott
Hello, I am Yolande, founder & owner of Philpotts Mobile Spa since 2004
With over 20 years’ experience working in 5-star spas and running my own private practice, I bring a wealth of expertise and a deeply nurturing approach to every treatment I offer. I first qualified in Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage in 2004 on my Complementary Health Therapies Degree, a fully integrated professional training degree and have continued to expand my professional development ever since — studying, training, and adding new holistic therapies along the way.
I now run Philpott’s Mobile Spa, offering a bespoke mobile spa and massage service throughout West Cornwall. My focus is always on natural and ethical wellness, using only high-quality, cruelty-free, and vegan/vegetarian-friendly products.

My Story & Journey
I moved back to Cornwall in 2000 after spending around 10 years in my 20s living in the USA, working as a Project Manager in Marketing & Advertising across Boston and New York.
After returning to my hometown, Penzance and seeing St Michaels Mount once again I knew I had made the right decision to return the beautiful West Penwith of Cornwall. I then welcomed my beautiful daughter, Matilda, in 2001. In 2004, I decided to follow a new path that aligned with my family life and wellbeing. I began studying healthcare through Access to Nursing, and completing three years of my Nursing Degree before transferring into Complementary Health Therapies — where I discovered my lifelong passion for holistic bodywork, energy work, and natural healing.
My degree covered a wide range of modalities, including:
Deep Tissue • Anatomy & Physiology • Aromatherapy • Reflexology• Holistic Swedish (*Level3) Modules in Homeopathy • Nutrition • Herbal Medicine • Organic Chemistry Aromatherapy •Osteopathy/Chiropractic Principles • Bach Flower Remedies • Traditional Chinese Medicine • Acupuncture (Dissertation) • Sports Injuries • Hopi Ear Candling

Following my degree, I completed a BA (Hons) in Counselling Studies and then a PGCE, allowing me to teach and share my passion for complementary health. I taught both Aromatherapy Massage and Anatomy & Physiology before choosing to return full-time to my own private practice and expand my dream — Philpott’s Mobile Spa.
Now, with more than 20 years of experience running my own business, I’m proud to deliver a luxury, 5-star mobile spa service to homes, holiday retreats, and events throughout West Cornwall. I also work on retreats both locally and abroad, offering bespoke massage and holistic treatments that blend skill, compassion, and relaxation
